Our enslaved ancestors gifted us with a great deal despite being denied freedom for centuries. One of their most significant legacies is that of food. In the Caribbean, we adapted many traditional African recipes to suit the type of ingredients and availability in this part of the world. This exciting tour will take place at a prominent restaurant in Port of Spain, the capital of T&T. Foodies and those interested in culinary arts will enjoy a unique opportunity to be involved in the history, preparation and naturally, the enjoyment of foods inspired by Africa. Participants will be part of an immersive and enjoyable experience as they learn about this aspect of our African culture. Our food journey will close with the sharing of the meal that was prepared, music and gracious service by the restaurant owner and our team. A truly delicious tour!
